Pablo Heras-Casado - Musical America's 2014 Conductor of the Year - leads the Symphony in a series of four concerts which also include two Chamber Symphonies - one by Arnold Schoenberg, the other by contemporary Bay Area composer John Adams . Hailed by the Houston Chronicle as the "Most perfect interpreter of this generation", and acknowledged as one of the most celebrated and popular classical musicians of his era, Joshua Bell first appeared with the San Francisco Symphony in 1991, as a Shenson Young Artist.
